*Translated version of the ‘The Miracle’*

Por esta historia es la razon que tengo tanta fe en mi corazon.
Con una madre embarasada de su sexto hijo es como todo comenzo.
La madre sufrio por un fuerte ataque,
No sabiendo que hiva ser tan grave.
El doctor perdio la fe y les dijo  que tenian que abortar el bebe o hiva a nacer con una discapacidad,
Pero los padres no dejaron que la discapacidad del bebe les apagara la felicidad,
Al nacer, el bebe nacio muy sano,
Imediatamente, todos dijieron que hera un gran milagro.
El bebe que pudo morir en la panza de su madre o nacer con una discapacidad soy yo,
Pero ninguna de esas cosas ocurio y eso es una gran bendicion.
Yo siempre eh estado cera de mi religion,
No porque mis pafres van a misa y porque es tradicion.
Pero porque estoy  agradecida con dios por darme la vida,
Y por siempre cuidarme de la oscuridad y por darme la salida.

This is a story that’s never been told,
Because of this story is why my faith and religion I will forever hold.
The story begins with a mother pregnant with her 6th child,
Little did she know that this pregnancy was going to be the most wild.
Within months into her pregnancy, she had some form of stroke,
That’s when the nightmare awoke.
It’s never safe for either the child or the mother to suffer from this horrible attack,
The doctor’s main concern and fear was that the baby not surviving an attack like that.
The doctor lost hope and gave them bad news,
And gave them a difficult decision for them to choose.
Get an abortion or the baby will be born with a disability,
But the abortion was refused and they accepted the unborn very willingly.
Weeks later they were holding a perfectly healthy baby,
Both parents were extremely blessed that their baby was born safely.
This just proves that miracles do exist,
Because the doctor said that the child was going to be born with a problem but there was a twist.
The child grew up living a healthy life,
And is blessed to be alive.
I am the child of this story,
And I’m blessed that my parents didn’t give up on me.
This is why I have so much faith,
This is why I go to god when I’m down or afraid.
I am called ‘the miracle’ at Saint Alphonsus Church,
I’m beyond blessed and grateful to God for keeping me here alive on earth.
This is the reason why I’m so close to my religion,
Extremely grateful and blessed for the life I was given.

When I look in the mirror I get reminded of my past life,
There lies the scars that I made with a knife.
The most important fact about self-harm is that self-harm only causes you more pain,
Self-harm only causes you to suffer again and again.
Yes, I've had problems with self-harm in the past but I don't anymore,
My life isn't as dark as it once was before.
As time past I learned a lot,
And I no longer let my past drag me down or tear me apart.
Self-harm is never the answer,
You will only end up in disaster.
Learn from me and my experience,
Trust me, I could prevent you that extra pain and horrible consequence.

Pain isn't just about constant sadness or suffering, it has to do with your growth,
The bad thing is never knowing when the pain is going to approach.
At the end of the day, it's your choice to control the pain or to let it drag you down,
But you need to come to realization and find a way to turn all bad thoughts around.
Only you have the power to calm or stop the storm going on in your head,
It's better to face the pain rather than to fled.
Pain constantly reminds you of your strength,
But self-confidence is something that you constantly have to reflect.
Remember to always be brave,
Never give up no matter how much happiness and peace you crave.
Pain slowly makes you stronger,
Have a positive mindset and your happiness will always stay with you for a long term.

A friend of mine once asked, "Why is it that everyone shows you the most love when you are dead?",
His brother responded, "Because that's their last chance to say their goodbyes and to say anything that was never before said."
When someone dies, the whole family comes together,
They cry, they mourn, and remember you forever.
When death comes, you realize that you won't ever speak or talk to that person ever again,
You won't be able to speak to them in your moments of great pain.
Death doesn't meant that they are completely gone,
Although the great grief goes on.
At a funeral, you talk to the person although they can't talk back,
As time passes, their presence and love will be the main thing that you lack.
When death comes, the pain follows,
As well as the painful sorrows.
Death will always be unexpected,
Even after death, you and that person will always be connected.
Don't wait to tell any family or friends how much you love them,
Even if death takes them away, they will remain in your heart till the end.

Suffering with anxiety is not easy,
It's like constantly living a nightmare.
Every time I've talked about it no one ever believes me,
It's like having a shadow that is constantly following you and always there.

It's almost impossible to control a panic or anxiety attack,
It's like having a monster living inside your head.
It takes over you and makes you do things that you can't take back,
You become a complete different person full of hatred, sadness, and you hurt the people that you love the most with the things you have said.

Never being able to control or stop an anxiety attack,
Feels like the whole world is crashing down.
Happiness and positivity is something that a lot of us with illness lack,
But we have to not give up and turn things around.

Panicking for no reason,
Having a little devil on your shoulder and constantly telling you bad things,
Living with anxiety is like being in a prison,
Always struggling to control and stop any negative feelings.

Anxiety gets so bad that you lose strength and no longer want to fight,
Being in a dark room and having no escape.
Never knowing if what you do is right,
Feeling like a failure and like a really big mistake.

Nonstop crying,
Always having trouble breathing.
Slowly feeling like your insides are dying,
Always feeling your heart and chest aching.

Anxiety is like a living nightmare,
Never knowing when anxiety is going to strike.
Feeling trapped but not being able to go nowhere,
Anxiety drastically changes you and turns you into the suppose mean girl that no one likes.

Max the day I was asked if I would take responsibility to accept you as my godson, my heart was overwhelmed with a loving sensation,
And I quickly accepted this request with no hesitation.

The request of loving you like a mother and help guide you through life,
And to show you the direction of the spiritual light.

To be your strength in difficult times and stand proud when you pull through,
The obstacles that life decides to throw at you.

Max, I promise not only to be there for you as a aunt but also like a mother,
Both you and your brother grew up with me and I consider you both as my little brothers and I'll support you two like no other.

As my godson, you will give me the opportunity to learn how to love and raise the kids of my own,
With me you won't have to walk this ugly and cruel world alone. 

I will work hard to be for you a great role model,
I will show you that no matter what life throws at you, life isn't always awful.

I will forever be your guide,
Whenever you feel down I will help you and won't stop until you are happy and satisfied. 

I promise that through the years with all of life's demands,
My love and care for you will never change I'm here for you with open hands. 

I promise to be here to listen to you,
I promise to protect you.

I am so honored to be your godmother and to be there as you grow,
To guide you on your journey and to teach you everything that I know.

I am so happy to show you that I care,
To always hold you in my heart and keep you in my prayers.

During your dark days don’t let that bring you down

Push away the negative,

Don’t let it take over you so turn the other way around

Make room for the positive.

Remind yourself,”I can and I will cause I’m strong”,

Be strong and be brave

No one can tell you that you are wrong,

No one can prevent you from reaching out for the happiness you wish to gain.

Always remember

Your worth and who you are,

Never give up and surrender

Have faith and you will shine bright like a star.

Never have doubt and always be yourself

To be happy,

You don’t need to be someone else

You don’t need to suffer so badly.

Wow it’s crazy how fast time flies, With you I’ve won the most beautiful and amazing prize. Being with you is like feeling at home, You are the most precious diamond that I own. No matter what you are going through, always remember that I always got you, I’m here to support and help you with whatever you want to pursue. Been madly in love and head over heels over you since my sophmore year and your senior year, Didn’t know what true love was or how it felt but you’ve made it very clear. I’ve been the happiest with you since you came into my life, Although you don’t see it you are the most handsome and perfect man in my eyes. Being with me you will never know what it feel like to get hurt ever again, I will protect you from any thunder, lighting, and rain. I can’t seem to live without you, it’s like I am addicted and you are my drug, You capture me completely with just one of your warm and cozy hugs. During any doubt, always remember that my feelings and love for you is 100% real, Believe me when I say that with me happiness is the only thing that you will feel. I know I say this a lot but I love you ! Amazing guys like you there is just a few, but I’m happy that out of millions I got blessed with you. Happy Anniversary Baby ! Every single day I thank god for the amazing gift and blessing that he gave me ❤️
